People often wonder why a Bigfoot isn't hit by motor vehicle like other forest creatures. Good question! Here's a great video of Bigfoot darting across a country road right in front of a police squad car. I had lunch yersterday with Jack Barnes, the lead researcher from Facebook/FindBigfoot and we discussed his recent expedition across the Pacific Northwest in an RV with other researchers from his Facebook page. I already knew they hadn't captured the footage of Bigfoot that they had hoped for.

Despite having more than a dozen thermal cameras (one of which was $30,000 and donated byFLIR the inventors of high-tech thermal imaging) the team came away with no convincing footage. However, there were several lessons that Jack shared with me that are worth repeating to my readers here on Yahoo!

The Spy vs Spy Game of Bigfoot Research

When it comes to Bigfoot research one can't ignore that strange feeling that they're being watched or followed in the forest. Many of us know that Bigfoots "own the forest" and they see you coming long;before you see them. That's why they have the advantage in the "spy vs spy" game of Bigfoot research.

Nobody describes this better than Tom Powell (ThomSquatch) in is blog where he describes his own experience tracking Bigfoot and how much of it is really nothing more than 'intelligence gathering'. His blog post reminds me of experiences I have had in the forests and also those of fellow researcher Chris Noel, author of Impossible Visits where he realizes Bigfoot lives closer to his home than he had previously realized.

Bigfoot Nest and Stick Structures in North Carolina 2010

Three men who were filming an episode of "Swamp Loggers" came across what could be Bigfoot nest with unusual stick structures and possible Bigfoot scat. The men took photographs of the nest, not really sure what they were looking at.

Once the episode of Swamp Loggers aired on TV a viewer happened to spot what might be two Bigfoots and a baby Bigfoot staring back at the loggers through the forest. At the time of the filming the loggers had no idea they were being watched and they had no idea that they captured it on video.

Bigfoot Spotted on Trail Cam Carrying Salt Lick

This was submitted by one of our Facebook fans who wanted an analysis and commentary of this trail camera footage. In our experience, Bigfoots somehow avoid trail cams, because they can probably detect the infrared light.

In this video footage, something very large walks just outside the camera range and appears to be carrying something, possibly a salt lick left for deer.
